Wawakapewin First Nation

Thank you for stopping by! Our new website is still under development. Please check back regularly for updates.

Greetings

Wawakapewin is an active community with a number of exciting initiatives. From our Land Use Planning initiatives with the province of Ontario to our Food Security initiatives. The community is tiny and very isolated, so our staff are responsible for a number of roles that wouldn't normally be expected of them. Although very challenging, we find dealing with these issues very rewarding.
